ABATE Local 17 of California 14th Annual Ride-in Motorcycle Show & 11th Annual Classic Hot Rod Show

Calling all motorcycle and hot rod enthusiasts! You can spend a Sunday afternoon checking out some of the finest in classic custom hot rods and custom motorcycles, while listening to great music and enjoying great food.

The 14th Annual Ride In Motorcycle Show, sponsored by ABATE Local 17, combined with the 11th Annual Classic Hot Rod Show, takes place on Sunday, June 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The show is being held at Iron Steed Harley Davidson (formerly Vacaville Harley Davidson) at 100 Auto Center Drive in Vacaville.

The event is free and open to the public, and will feature vendors, raffle prizes, tattoo artist, and a 50/50 drawing. Suisun Valley Fire District will be on hand, offering a BBQ lunch, and other refreshments will be available.

Live music will be provided at the show by The Treatment, a Napa based band that performs great dance tunes. The Treatment is a four-piece band consisting of guitar, bass, drums and keyboard. Members include George Castaneda on keyboard, guitar player and lead vocalist Rob Crummett, drummer Steve Tolman, and Pat Gilleran on bass. Their music starts at Elvis and Chuck Berry and covers rock ‘n’ roll, blues, country, soul, and a dash of reggae.

There is a $20 entry fee for those who register their motorcycles or classic cars before May 21, and the fee is $25 after that date. Sign-ins begin at 9 a.m. and end at 11 a.m. that morning. Over 50 hot rods and 100 motorcycles are expected to enter the competition.

Prizes for motorcycles will be awarded in 12 different categories, plus Best of Show. Hot Rods can win in 5 different categories, plus Best of Show. All awards are based on People’s Choice.
