Join “Catch the Reading Bug” this summer at the John F. Kennedy Library and discover the amazing world of insects. Children ages 12 and younger can earn weekly prizes and a free book- just by reading! Registration for the summer reading program began on June 16th. Events on Wednesday mornings start promptly at 10:30 and are for all ages unless otherwise noted.

Python Ron’s Variety Show: See and learn about bugs, snakes and other critters. Ages 5 and up.
Wednesday, July 9
Janet Sirett: Silly sing-alongs and guitar music. Perfect for kids ages 3-8.
Wednesday, July 16
Traveling Lantern Theatre presents “Caterpillar Hunter: A Vegetable Safari!” This wacky play pursues strange and elusive bugs. Ages 5 and up.

Gerald Joseph: Captivating feats of magic and levitation that aren’t to be missed!

P & T Puppets: The timeless tale of “The Grasshopper & Ant” set to music. Ages 5 and up.
Wednesday, August 6
Oklin Bloodworth: Little ones will enjoy tunes about animals and our wonderful world.
Wednesday, August 13
Sandi & Stevie: Hop, hop, hop with Green Grasshopper and sing along to other funny insect songs!
